NCARB & You IDP, ARE & Certification

13 Sep

Join fellow emerging professionals at the AIA New England Regional Conference on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Biltmore Hotel in DownCity Providence for a free presentation by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.  Kimberly Tuttle, AIA, NCARB, will present on a range of licensure topics relevant to students, interns, supervisors and architects.  The presentation will focus on how to successfully complete IDP, what to expect front he ARE – including the next incarnation, ARE 5.0 – and other programs to get the most out of your career in architecture.

Following the NCARB presentation, you will have the opportunity to engage in a Speed Mentoring/Networking session.  Speed Mentoring encourages architects of all ages and areas of practice to share their experience with the next generation.  Attendees then take their places at tables and rotate amongst each other for 4 minute “meetings”.  If you are in the midst of IDP and need some guidance, taking the licensing exams, looking for a mentor, want to hear what other interns and recently-licensed architects are doing, please consider joining us!
