Pumpkin Contest Winners

Congratulations to Ryan Nelson of Union Studio Architecture and Community Design who took home the grand prize last night for his “Death-Star” carved pumpkin.

Second place went to Douglas Kallfelz, AIAri President and Third place was a three-way tie between Christen Robbins of Vision 3 Architects (with two pumpkin designs) and Sara Kudra of Ed Wojcik Architect.

Park(ing) Day

23 Aug


PARK(ing) Day  is an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. This year on September 20th Providence is taking on 17 spots to transform them into micro parks for a day. The Emerging Professionals Committee will have a spot  (#10 on map) at 158 Washington Street in front of the AIA Window on Architecture space.
