Join the AIAri Emerging Professionals Committee on Saturday, May 09, 2015, for a tour of the new Tiverton Public Library. The new 24,000 sf library includes a community meeting room, a children’s library, a teen room, a local history room and a sunset reading terrace. With close proximity to town recreational fields, a new mixed-use artist’s cooperative and the middle school and high school, the library will be the primary meeting place for this rural community of 17,000 people. The building is participating in National Grid’s Advanced Buildings Program and is designed to perform 45% better than the 2009 Rhode Island state energy code.
